		<description>Good post and some great thoughts. Although, I can&#039;t say I totally agree with you. 

My case is largely made on the fact that we have eyes. It wouldn&#039;t be difficult to argue that to look at God&#039;s creation aides in our worship, but in itself pales horribly in comparison to his glory.

Also, the it seems to me that the Israelites weren&#039;t asking for a representation of the true God but asking for new ones. I could be wrong, but that&#039;s certainly how it reads at face value.

Also, I think it could be argued (by John Piper) that without a &quot;good&quot; worship experience, it&#039;s unlikely you&#039;ve actually been worshipping.
